Logue Wins the Great Debate

Press Release

Assemblyman Dan Logue and liberal Congressman John Garamendi met last night before the Dixon Chamber of Commerce to debate the issues at hand in the 2014 election to represent California's 3rd Congressional District.

Dan Logue delivered a positive message of securing our borders, growing our economy, rolling back burdensome federal regulations, supporting a work fair program (which allows immigrants to work in American and then return to their native land), and protecting our water rights in Northern California.

After showing up 45 minutes late to the publicly advertised candidate forum, Congressman Garamendi used his time to discuss how he believes Obamacare to be working well and advocated against voter ID.

Assemblyman Logue stated there is a potential threat from terrorists crossing our border. Mr. Garamendi dismissed the idea that there is any danger. When a member of the audience pointed out that four ISIS terrorists had been captured along the Texas-Mexico Border this week, a shocked and red-faced John Garamendi admitted he was unaware.

The disclosure of the ISIS capture was made by California Congressman Duncan Hunter, who sits on the House Armed Services Committee along with John Garamendi.

"It's truly shocking that Mr. Garamendi is oblivious to the real threat at our border. It is time to secure our borders and focus on protecting American citizens," said Logue. "We cannot put our heads in sand, it is time to send strong leadership to Congress."

The debate was overly one sided on all the issues in which Garamendi was truly on the defensive all night. Overwhelmingly, the audience was in support of Assemblyman Logue's statements.
